"Purple Heart" Puppets

Here are a couple of the puppets used in "Purple Heart"; the pilot and the old man. They were drawn on bristol, inked, then colored with Copic markers and finally cut out and held together with floral wire Scotch tape.

This is a cut out animation that I did for my Principles of Screen Design class. It was supposed to be ten seconds long and somehow ended up at twenty-two. Ah ha. Anyway, it's set to "Ole Buttermilk Sky" by Kay Kyser.

This is the rough animation for shot one of a 15 second short that I'm working on for my 2-D production class.
